Terms & Conditions

TMG Connect $10,000 Renovation Giveaway

1. Promotion
The TMG Connect $10,000 Renovation Giveaway gives one eligible entrant the opportunity to receive $10,000 including GST towards a renovation project managed by TMG Connect Ltd.
The $10,000 is a contribution towards the winner's renovation project. It is not a cash prize and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
By entering this promotion, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Promotion Period
The promotion opens at 4:30pm on Monday, 7 September 2026 and closes at 12:00pm (midday) on Friday, 2 October 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be eligible.
The winner is intended to be announced at approximately 4:00pm on Friday, 2 October 2026, subject to confirmation of eligibility.
All times are New Zealand time.

3. Eligibility
To enter, entrants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.

  • Be a New Zealand resident.

  • Own the property proposed for renovation.

  • Be able and willing to undertake the renovation through TMG Connect Ltd.

  • Be able to commence the renovation within the timeframe specified in these Terms & Conditions.

Employees of TMG Connect Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
TMG Connect Ltd reserves the right to verify an entrant's eligibility and property ownership before confirming the prize.

4. How to Enter
Entry is through the official TMG Connect $10,000 Renovation Giveaway post on Facebook & Instagram.
During the promotion period, entrants must:

  1. Like and follow the TMG Connect Facebook or Instagram page.

  2. Like the official giveaway post.

  3. Comment on the official giveaway post and tell us what they would like to renovate and why.

  4. Tag a friend in the comments.

There is a maximum of one qualifying entry per person.
Additional comments, tags or interactions will not provide additional entries.
No purchase, quote, consultation or project booking with TMG Connect is required to enter.
Entries that do not meet all entry requirements may be excluded.

5. Winner Selection
One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the promotion period.
The random selection will take place following the promotion closing at 12:00pm on Friday, 2 October 2026.
TMG Connect Ltd may use an electronic random selection tool to select the winner.
The selected entrant's eligibility will be verified before the prize is confirmed.
If the selected entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements, another eligible entry will be randomly selected.

6. Winner Notification & Announcement
The selected winner will be contacted directly by TMG Connect Ltd using the Facebook account used to enter the promotion.
Subject to confirmation of eligibility, TMG Connect intends to announce the winner on its Facebook page at approximately 4:00pm on Friday, 2 October 2026.
The selected winner must respond to TMG Connect within 48 hours of being contacted.
If the selected winner:

  • Does not respond within 48 hours;

  • Cannot be contacted;

  • Does not meet the eligibility requirements; or

  • Is unable or unwilling to accept the prize in accordance with these Terms & Conditions,

the original selection will be forfeited and TMG Connect Ltd will randomly select another eligible entrant.
TMG Connect will never require payment to claim the prize.

7. The Prize
The winner will receive:
$10,000 including GST towards a renovation project managed by TMG Connect Ltd.
The prize:

  • Is a contribution towards the agreed renovation project.

  • Is not a $10,000 cash payment to the winner.

  • Cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

  • Cannot be transferred to another person or property.

  • Must be used towards a renovation project managed by TMG Connect Ltd.

  • Will be applied against the agreed costs of the renovation project.

The total renovation project may cost more than $10,000.
Any costs above TMG Connect's $10,000 contribution will be the responsibility of the winner and will be agreed as part of the normal project planning and approval process.

8. Planning the Winning Renovation
Once the winner has been confirmed, TMG Connect will work with them to understand:

  • What they would like to renovate.

  • Their vision for the space.

  • Their overall renovation budget.

  • The proposed scope of work.

  • Design and material requirements.

  • Any building, compliance or consenting requirements.

The final project scope will be developed between TMG Connect and the winner based on their objectives, available budget and the practical requirements of the property.
The final renovation does not need to be identical to the renovation described in the winner's original Facebook comment.

9. Project Commencement
The winning renovation must be able to commence within three months of the winner being confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing by TMG Connect Ltd.
Project commencement will be subject to reasonable considerations including design, product availability, trade availability, consenting requirements and other factors outside the reasonable control of TMG Connect or the winner.
If the winner is unable or unwilling to proceed with the renovation within the required timeframe, and an alternative timeframe cannot reasonably be agreed, TMG Connect Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the prize and randomly select another eligible entrant.

10. Project Feasibility
All renovation work is subject to TMG Connect's normal project assessment and feasibility requirements.
This may include consideration of:

  • Site and existing building conditions.

  • Access.

  • Structural requirements.

  • Building consent and regulatory requirements.

  • Product and material availability.

  • Trade availability.

  • Project scope and budget.

TMG Connect will work with the winner to develop a practical renovation that reflects their vision and available budget.


11. Supplier Contributions
Following confirmation and planning of the winning renovation, TMG Connect may approach suppliers, trades and project partners about supporting the project.
This may result in additional discounts, products, upgrades or contributions.
Any additional supplier support is at the discretion of the relevant supplier or partner and is not guaranteed as part of this promotion.
The guaranteed contribution under the promotion is $10,000 including GST from TMG Connect Ltd.


12. Sharing the Renovation Journey
The winning renovation is intended to be documented and shared as part of TMG Connect's marketing.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to reasonably participate in promotional content relating to their renovation.
This may include:

  • Winner announcement.

  • Photography and video.

  • The winner's renovation story.

  • Before and after imagery.

  • Planning and design.

  • Product and material selections.

  • Project progress.

  • Behind-the-scenes content.

  • Completed renovation content.

  • Customer feedback or testimonial.

TMG Connect will discuss photography, filming and publication arrangements with the winner before content is produced or published.


13. Privacy
TMG Connect Ltd may collect personal information from entrants for the purposes of administering the promotion, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and delivering the prize.
Entry into the promotion does not automatically subscribe an entrant to TMG Connect email or direct marketing communications unless they separately consent.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy requirements and TMG Connect's privacy practices.


14. Facebook / Meta Disclaimer
This promotion is administered by TMG Connect Ltd.
It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Meta.
By entering, participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to TMG Connect Ltd and not to Facebook or Meta.


15. Invalid Entries
TMG Connect Ltd reserves the right to exclude any entry that:

  • Does not meet the entry requirements.

  • Is received outside the promotion period.

  • Contains false or misleading information.

  • Is submitted using a fake or fraudulent account.

  • Is offensive, inappropriate or unlawful.

  • Attempts to manipulate the promotion or random selection process.

TMG Connect may request reasonable evidence of the selected winner's identity, age and property ownership before confirming the prize.


16. General Conditions
TMG Connect Ltd reserves the right to verify compliance with these Terms & Conditions before awarding the prize.
If circumstances outside TMG Connect's reasonable control prevent the promotion or renovation from proceeding as intended, TMG Connect may modify, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary.
Any material changes to the promotion will be communicated through TMG Connect's official channels.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
