Project Scope: This Waimataitai bathroom was small, dim, and no longer meeting the needs of the homeowners. The goal was to maximise the compact space, improve lighting and flow, and create a modern bathroom with fresh finishes. The project was completed in just two weeks, transforming the room into a bright and functional space with stylish modern details.
Key Objectives:
Redesign the compact bathroom for improved space and flow.
Bring in more light and create an open, airy feel.
Use modern fixtures and finishes to elevate the overall design.
Deliver a fast, well-coordinated renovation with minimal disruption.
Project Description:
Phase 1: Preparation and Demolition The renovation began with a full strip-out of the existing bathroom to give us a clean foundation for the redesign. Careful planning ensured that every inch of the tight space would be used efficiently, with fixtures and fittings chosen to balance practicality and style.
Phase 2: Construction and Installation Fresh linings, waterproofing, and new fixtures were installed to completely reimagine the room. The design introduced black tapware and fittings for a bold, modern edge, paired with a lighter colour palette to maximise brightness and make the room feel larger.
Phase 3: Final Touches and Completion Completed within two weeks, the new bathroom is bright, open, and far more functional than the original. The modern finishes and striking black details give it character and sophistication, while the improved layout makes it much easier to use day-to-day.
Highlights:
Efficient Use of Space: Clever planning turned a cramped room into a practical bathroom.
Modern Fixtures: Black tapware and fittings provide a bold, contemporary look.
Bright New Look: Lighter colours and improved lighting make the bathroom feel more open.
Fast Turnaround: Completed in just two weeks with smooth coordination of all trades.
Client-Focused Result: A transformation that balanced style, practicality, and efficiency.
