Laundry Renovation - Clandeboye

Project Scope: This Clandeboye home’s laundry was dated, impractical, and lacking in storage. The homeowners wanted a modern, stylish, and functional space that would make everyday tasks easier while complementing the character of their home. The project involved a complete strip-out and rebuild, with smart design choices to maximise storage, improve flow, and add timeless style.

Project Description:

Phase 1: Demolition and Preparation The existing laundry was fully stripped back, including removal of cabinetry and outdated fixtures. A cavity slider was added to improve flow and accessibility, while the floor was repaired with new tiles where the old cabinetry had been removed.

Phase 2: Construction and Installation Custom cabinetry in a fresh sage green finish was installed, designed to fit the washer and dryer seamlessly while creating ample storage. Rustic subway tiles were stacked vertically to form a striking splashback, adding character and visual height to the compact space.

Phase 3: Final Touches and Completion The laundry renovation was completed with wooden shelving for warmth and a farmhouse sink that adds timeless charm while boosting practicality. The combination of earthy tones, natural textures, and thoughtful detailing resulted in a laundry that is both highly functional and beautifully styled.
